Her name Brodrene af Sand is translated as "The Sand Brothers". At the time I captured this image at Stavanger, Norway in July 2011 her history was unknown to me. Built in the mid 1800's she was employed carrying cargo between Stavanger, Haugesund and Bergen. Restored between 1998/99 she is now owned and operated by a museum/preservation society called Ryfylkemuseet. When I took this photograph she was participating in a festival for sailing vessels.
